Changes in Italy visa requirements in response to Coronavirus



Italy has been one of the worst-hit cases of the novel coronavirus pandemic. Therefore, to control the situation Italy went into lockdown in March. However, as the situation in Italy and abroad as improved, Italy has decided to lift its travel ban from certain third-countries and different travelers. Certain basic documents are needed for applying to countries in Europe which are part of the Schengen region. Documents needed for an Italian Schengen visa are as follows:

      Italian visa application form

      Identical photos, at least two

      A valid passport from your respective country

      If applicable, then apply copies of your previous visa as well

      Proof of travel and accommodation is a must
