4 things to keep in mind if you are planning to visit Italy

Italy is one of the dream places to visit. Who does not love a place full of art, culture, delicious food and a vibe that is beyond replaceable? But travelling to any place for the first time can be slightly dicey, so here we present to you a few things you must keep in mind when you plan to visit to have a better experience.

(1)   Northern Italy and Southern Italy are two different countries

It is important to note that Northern and Southern Italy are different and each has their own culture, cuisines and places to visit. Even when today on paper these are a single country, they remain distinctly different. It would be ideal to visit both, so make sure you take slightly more time on your hands!

(2)   You need not learn Italian

While you may be worried if you need to learn Italian or not, the short answer is, no.You do not need to, for a tourist even if you speak English you will do just fine. But it would not hurt to know a little bit of Italian, you can check videos on youtube to learn basic tourist Italian.

(3)   Know your visa details

If you are applying for an Italy visa London or Italy visa UK you need to be a resident of the UK or have a permit of UK residence at least till 3 months beyond the time to leave Italy. Check with your visa agency for the same.

(4)   Italy Schengen visa

If you are planning to see more of Europe than just Italy, you can get a Schengen visa. Italy comes in the Schengen region and if you get a Schengen visa you get to visit all places under this area for a period of 90 days. Make a long holiday out of it!
